Official New Truth University Statement

We have just realized that our site has been hijacked by a group that calls itself the Skeptics' Circle. We apologize for the inconvenience, and would like to remind all visitors that the hacked pages are in no way representative of the true spirit of New Truth University (NTU). Once the current security fallacies are fixed, the official NTU website will be accessible again. Again, we would like to apologise, and remind you that the above-mentioned group members are not NTU employees, faculty, medical doctors or in any way NTU staff, and that therefore they cannot be trusted for reliable medical advice. NTU is not responsible in any way of any consequences if you decided to follow the hackers' links.

Welcome to NTU, New Truth University. At NTU, we think for you. Open yourself to an alternative view of truth - the one we give you.

At NTU, we combine alternative academic dogmas with the absolute flexibility that allows you to create your own degree. At NTU, we’re all about life-changing experiences. Our admission requirements vary widely because each program of study is different. However, if you are completely unable to have your own opinion, and even if you do you simply cannot justify it logically, you're guaranteed admission to almost all of our programs, plus a space in residence, and priority course access. When you are admitted to NTU, you'll be ready to make your dreams a reality.

Bachelors of Coldology: didn't you ever have the feeling that your doctor knew what the solution to the common cold was, but kept keeping you away from it? You were right, and here at NTU we will give you the final proof. Take a course in Coldology 101 with Prof. Novella and find out about the powers of Echinacea. Bachelors of Malariology: malaria has been deemed a blight, a terrible disease. But have you ever felt like there was more to malaria than what your doctor told you? At NTU, we'll give the truth back to you! You will find out about the amazing opportunities of malaria though the teachings of Dr. Smith and esteemed colleagues. However, let's not forget that malaria is a disease. But did you ever think your doctor was making it much worse than you thought? Find out from Prof. Canard why you were, in fact, right.

Bachelors of Homeopathy: one of the most respected programs at NTU, receiving governmental funding. This is a highly competitive program. Our faculty are the most respected academics in the field. Let us give special mention of the faculty member that make this NTU program like no other homeopathy program you have ever seen: Dr. Orac. He will introduce you to the power of homeopathy in his Homeopathy 101, featuring the use of potassium dichromate on tracheal secretions in critically ill patients.

Bachelors of Mercurology (concentration Mercury and Vaccines): ever wondered whether vaccines are safe? You did? Good, because as we will show you at NTU, you were right to doubt them. Learn about the effect of mercury and its widespread use in vaccines from our experts. And learn why vaccines, mercury or not, are indeed the cause of all evil. Dr. Orac takes you for a tour of the perils of vaccination in Vaccines 202, and you will be able to learn about conspiracies and vaccines in Mercury 301 from the skilled Prof. Factician.

Degree in Alty Medicine: particularly popular for its disincentive to critical thinking. You can choose from a variety of specializations, going from Vitaminology (Dr. Primate) to Investigative Oncology, which will open your mind to issues such as why we have not found a cure against cancer yet (Dr. Novella), and why it took people so long to understand that cigarette smoke is directly linked to lung cancer (Dr. Goldacre). You will also be able to learn how to cure autism - yes, didn't you have that feeling that it was possible? Find out how with Dr. Jon. Explore the links between biomarkers and strokes with Dr. Mousetrapper, and get an introduction to the link between endogenous retroviruses and Evilution with Dr. CAD. Evilution? Yes, know thy enemy! At NTU, we want you to be prepared to fight the struggle against the mingling of humans and monkeys on the same (evilutionary) tree branches! On the other hand, our tenured creationism faculty will instruct you on how Lagrangian Mechanics is Intelligent Design. Also find out, in a special course offered only this year, why you should watch from dish soap (with guest lecturer Lord Runolfr)

Liberal Arts courses: at NTU, we believe that providing students with a variety of unstimulating electives will foster academic sloppiness and laziness of the mind. We are therefore proud to offer courses in ghost hunting, ninjas, astrology, piramidology, pseudo-skepticism, and finally, superstition.
